Bill of Materials for Sage Line 50

Designed for small and growing manufacturing businesses, this program enables you to create detailed bills of materials for products to be manufactured, including an unlimited number of components and unlimited number of levels of build and with any number of sub-assemblies. You can easily identify shortages of materials and automatically place purchase orders in Line 50 Financial Controller, selecting from a list of alternative suppliers.  You can also include machine and labour operations as well as sub-contract operations.

Sage Batch Controller for Line 50

Designed for businesses involved in repetitive batch manufacturing. This automatically takes outstanding orders from your Line 50 Financial Controller program and calculates the production requirements necessary to fulfil these. It also allows you to enter ‘make for stock’ items. It then allocates and issues stock against work orders, automatically updating your Line 50 accounts. Goods received are recorded for instant traceability, whilst certificates of conformity are produced, confirming products are manufactured to ISO quality standards.

Sage Job Controller for Line 50

Provides all the functionality required for manufacturing companies who operate within a jobbing or non-repetitive environment. A powerful estimating tool enables you to provide accurate and timely quotations for work. Stock is allocated and issued against jobs, instantly updating your Line 50 accounts. Invoices can be raised for all or parts of jobs, and then posted automatically to your Line 50 accounts. If you want to manage your costs more effectively, you can also see actual costs versus estimates and the variance.

Provides all the functionality required to control material, labour and machine costs in a busy mixed-mode manufacturing environment. It will smoothly control production planning, works order processing and resource management, with full traceability for materials tracking. A powerful integrated graphical scheduler enables production to be planned effectively.

Sage Shop Floor Data Collection

Available as an add-on to Manufacturing Controller for Line 50, Shop Floor Data Collection allows you to capture data direct on the shop floor; for example, the movement of stock using either manual data entry or through barcode scanners.

Sage Transaction e-Mail

A key way to achieve objectives to reduce transaction costs, improve speed and offer increased service levels to their customers is to streamline the processes of ordering and invoicing with your customers and suppliers. Sage Transaction e-Mail enables you to send orders easily and invoices via e-mail - directly from Line 50 accounts - instead of using traditional methods of printing, posting and faxing. Even if your trading partners are not using Sage (some 40% will have Sage software), the e-mails automatically present the same information, which they can print, and key into their systems.

Orders and invoices received from your trading partners in the same manner can also be automatically downloaded into your Line 50 accounts software, removing the need for manual entry.
